Governmental Affairs Council

The mission of the Government Affairs Council (GAC) is to provide education and awareness to, and advocate for, our members on a local, regional, state and federal level, thus creating a favorable and prosperous business climate for the business community. Our Council meets as a group several times a year to discuss our legislative policies and positions. Our Council members, who represent all pillars of regional economy, also regularly engage with our Chamber members and elected officials to ensure business needs and concerns are efficiently addressed. The GAC strives to create a strong regional economy, develop business advocacy and political action where needed, and provide direction to Chamber leadership to effectively represent the interests of business before government.
