By establishing this dedicated hub in downtown Savannah, Reeves Young is positioning itself to deepen its engagement with local partners and support the region’s evolving infrastructure needs. This move not only underscores their long-term commitment to the area but also their dedication to fostering the collaboration and high-quality craftsmanship that have become hallmarks of their legacy. The Savannah community gathered at the Tom Triplett Park Pavilion to honor a significant milestone in local advocacy: the 5th anniversary of My Veterans Place Savannah. The celebratory event highlighted five years of dedicated service to our region’s service members, veterans, and military families, culminating in an official ribbon-cutting ceremony. Since its inception, My Veterans Place has served as a critical pillar of support, providing a “hand up, not a handout” to those in need. By addressing the root causes of instability, ranging from emergency housing and food security to mental health resources and workforce readiness, the organization has successfully rebuilt lives and restored dignity for hundreds of local households. A highlight of the anniversary celebration was the presentation of a $20,000 grant from the VyStar Credit Union Foundation, a testament to the high-impact work the organization continues to perform across the Lowcountry. The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates My Veterans Place Savannah on five years of unwavering commitment to our military community. We applaud their efforts to ensure no service member is left behind and look forward to their continued success in fostering stability, healing, and hope.
