On Wednesday, June 11, the staff from the Visit Savannah and Visit Tybee Visitor Information Centers enjoyed an informative outing to the Massie Heritage Center. For some, it was their very first visit, while for others, it was a wonderful reintroduction to the incredible exhibits and educational opportunities the center offers for all ages.

Our gracious hostess, Tara Kelsey, a Heritage Specialist at the center, truly made the experience unforgettable. Her depth of knowledge and passion for Savannah’s history shone through every explanation.

The Massie Heritage Center continues to be a phenomenal resource, showcasing Savannah’s rich history and diverse heritage in an engaging and accessible way. We were all reminded of what a gem it is for both visitors and locals alike!
