Visit Tybee Hosts Customer Service Training Program for Tybee Island Employees

Last Wednesday and Thursday, Visit Tybee offered a customer service training program for employees that work on Tybee Island. More than 60 people participated in this interactive class that showed how to improve customer service skills and take the guest experience to the next level. Attendees had the opportunity to hear from Marcia Banes, tourism expert with Old Savannah Tours, as she shared customer service techniques that are applicable for all types businesses and various experience levels. Then the class took a tour of Tybee Island, making stops at the Marine Science Center, Tybee Post Theater, Tybee Island Lighthouse and ending with a dolphin tour.
