Last week, the Southeast Tourism Society (STS) featured Visit Savannah’s Shannon Lowery and her insight on TikTok best practices for DMO’s. Shannon shared valuable information to over 100 attendees regarding social media do’s and don’t’s for one of today’s fastest-growing platforms. She highlighted examples of work and lessons from her experience creating and managing Visit Savannah’s TikTok account and other social media channels. The Southeast Tourism Society is a network of travel and hospitality partners in the Southeast region dedicated to providing cooperative collaboration, shared resources, and continuing education to partners throughout the Southeastern United States. Earlier this year, Shannon also presented at the STS annual conference in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on nontraditional media ventures and integrated marketing strategies.
