Visit Savannah’s Director of International Sales, Mindy Shea, has been re-elected to a second two-year term as the national Destination Management Organization (DMO) representative for the International Inbound Travel Association (IITA).
The IITA is the leading nonprofit trade association for international inbound travel to the United States, representing U.S. inbound tour operators, DMOs, and industry suppliers, including hotels, transportation providers, attractions, and restaurants. The association works to strengthen and expand international travel to the U.S. through advocacy, education, and industry partnerships.
Shea’s continued leadership reinforces Savannah’s position as a top global destination and ensures the city remains engaged in key discussions shaping international tourism. Her role allows Visit Savannah to collaborate with national and international partners, fostering growth in inbound travel and supporting the local tourism economy.
