Visit Savannah’s Jeff Hewitt Elected Chair of Georgia’s Tourism Advocacy Group
Visit Savannah’s Chief Sales Officer, Jeff Hewitt, has been elected Board Chair of the Georgia Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus (GACVB). Having previously served on the Board and Executive Committee, Jeff brings extensive experience to his new leadership role.
In collaboration with GACVB Executive Director Amanda Dyson-Thornton, Jeff will spearhead efforts to reinstate Tourism Day at the Capitol on March 5. This signature event allows tourism leaders from across Georgia to highlight the impact of destination marketing organizations (DMOs) to Governor Brian Kemp and state legislators.
