Visit Savannah is thrilled to share the honor of being recognized for not just one, but two Communicator Awards of Distinction for our Architectural Digest gatefold ads!

These ads mark a major milestone as they are the first gatefold ads Visit Savannah has ever created. Our first ad, “Savannah Sets the Stage for Life’s Best Scenes,” debuted in September 2024, and its success led us to follow up with our second gatefold ad “It’s all in the Details” in November 2024 and January 2025. Both ads exceeded industry standards, earning well-deserved recognition for their excellence, effectiveness, and innovation.

A huge shoutout goes to @Jen Huling and @Taya Person for their outstanding design work that truly brought these ads to life. But it didn’t stop there—the success of these ads was made possible thanks to the leadership and strategy from @Kim Webster Liebgott, @Lauren Cleland and @Angela Westerfield, and the beautiful landing pages created by @Brittany Howard to capture the audience’s interest. It truly takes a village, and I couldn’t be prouder of this team!
