Recently, Outside Brands hosted members of the Visit Savannah team on a visit to Page Island, a chain of hammock islands tucked between Daufuskie Island, Savannah and Palmetto Bluff. Outside acquired Page Island in the mid 1990s and has been using and developing it as an adventure outpost since.

The island offers an opportunity for guests to unplug from the “real world” and be truly immersed in the wild salt marsh with miles of walking trails and boardwalks, challenge courses, modern restroom facilities, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, dock fishing and on-site catering available. Page is the setting for Outside’s ‘Outback’ kayaking and boating program, ‘Adventure Island’ teen camp and ‘Ultimate Day’ family adventures. The island is often the setting for Team Outside’s team-building programs. In addition, Outside rents the island for over-the-top special events.
