Visit Savannah was represented at the recent Maritz top customer event in Scottsdale, Arizona, where Senior Director of Sales Larry Browder connected with leading meeting planners, Maritz team members and industry partners.

Maritz is a top third-party firm that books meetings of all sizes and generates significant room nights each year for hotels in destinations across the country, including Savannah. The annual event brings together the company’s top 100 customers, 100 Maritz associates and 100 partner suppliers for three days of learning, networking and relationship-building.

During the event, Browder met with several prospective customers for Savannah and shared updates on the destination’s continued growth. Meeting planners expressed excitement about the Savannah Convention Center expansion, the new Signia by Hilton hotel and other developments that strengthen Savannah’s appeal as a premier meetings destination.
