The Visit Savannah Sales and Marketing Team recently attended IPW, the largest domestic show for international inbound travel in the U.S. This year’s event was held in San Antonio, Texas, and was attended by over 5,000 people from more than 60 countries.   Mindy Shea, director of international sales, and Jeff Hewitt, Executive Vice President,  Sales & Service, met with 75 tour operators and industry leaders, mostly from Savannah’s top inbound countries of Canada, the UK, and Germany.

Meanwhile, Angela Westerfield, Vice President, Marketing & Communications, and Tanvi Chauhan, Communications Manager, met with 45 editors and writers. The Visit Savannah team was accompanied by two hotel partners, Hayley Johns with the Best Western Savannah Historic District, and Valerie Shell with Left Lane Development. Interest in visiting our city continues to be strong, and Savannah looks forward to welcoming even more travelers through the remainder of 2023 and beyond.
