Visit Savannah Hosts 16 Tour Operators for Insider Look at Savannah and Tybee Island
Last week, Visit Savannah’s Tour and Travel team welcomed 16 group tour operators from across the country for an immersive familiarization experience in Savannah and Tybee Island. For the week, guests explored the Historic District before venturing to Tybee Island.
Along the way, operators engaged firsthand with our local hospitality partners, experiencing behind‑the‑scenes tours of Savannah and Tybee’s hotels, southern fare at group‑friendly restaurants, and previewing attractions tailored to large‑group visits.
By showcasing Savannah’s timeless elegance and Tybee’s laid‑back island spirit, Visit Savannah continues to strengthen relationships with tour professionals and inspire new group travel itineraries for our region.
