Visit Savannah First Impressionists Network with Statewide Visitor Information Center Folks
Director of Savannah’s Visitor Information Center, Mava Byrd, and Visit Tybee’s center manager, Liz Hood networked with state and regional Visitor center managers from around the state at the Georgia Governor’s Tourism Conference. There were round table discussions on visitor services and classes on communication which helped the staff really learn important ideas, especially in this past-pandemic phase.
Mava and Liz are pictured here with Kellie Lord- Zieba, the Port Wentworth VIC manager and Alexa Britton, the executive director of the Vidalia Convention and Visitor. Featured in the photo is also the famous Georgia bulldog mascot – a trademark welcome into Athens, GA!
