Anjuli Derien, Visit Savannah’s group tour & film entertainment sales manager, hosted 16 tour operators on a FAM trip to Savannah following their attendance at Travel South’s 2019 Domestic Showcase this past week. Over the course of three days, she and her group enjoyed a variety of group activities such as a praline making class at Chef Darin’s Cooking Class, touring the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force, and Owens-Thomas House & Slave Quarters Museum, to name a few. After enjoying Savannah, the group spend a day and night exploring Tybee Island. Each representative is already currently including Savannah on their itinerary; however, a refresher for most was much-needed to update the reps on new programming and attractions as they continue to promote Savannah to future visitors.
