Mindy Shea, director of tour, travel and international sales recently attended the World Travel Market in London. Over a three day period, the travel industry came together as almost 5,000 exhibiting destinations, technology and private sector companies met and networked with 51,000 travel professionals, key industry buyers and journalists. Along with our Georgia Tourism representatives and Savannah’s own UK representatives, Shea met with tour operators specifically interested in promoting our area to their travelers. Visit Savannah also participated in hosting a well-attended networking event in conjunction with the Travel South organization.
