Visit Savannah team members Courtney Martin and Ginger McCoy recently represented the destination at the Informa Connect Spring Marketplace, held in Louisville. The event brought together corporate and association meeting planners from across the country, offering a valuable platform to showcase Savannah as a premier destination for meetings, conferences, and events.
Throughout the marketplace, Martin and McCoy engaged directly with planners, highlighting Savannah’s unique blend of historic charm, modern meeting facilities, and Southern hospitality. These one-on-one connections are critical to positioning the destination competitively and driving future group business to the region.
Also in attendance was Visit Savannah’s Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Lauren Cleland, who participated in the tourism marketing portion of the event. Serving as a co-host of the marketing track sessions, Cleland helped guide conversations around emerging trends, strategies, and innovations shaping the future of destination marketing.
