Melissa Hayes and Kim Webster of Visit Savannah and Visit Tybee’s group tour sales teams attended the Travel South Domestic Showcase in Biloxi, Mississippi March 18-21. This appointment-based show caters to tour operators who are specifically interested in bringing groups to Southern states.
Hayes and Webster met with 47 appointments over the course of two days and met countless other travel professionals at Travel South-hosted networking events. Interest in Savannah and  Tybee Island was high, and many operators are excited to begin planning tour groups for 2019 and 2020.

Here, Hayes and Webster are meeting with Xiaolin Ding with Universal Vision, a receptive tour operator for Chinese and other international travelers.
