Travel South International Showcase, the premier international tourism marketplace for the Southern United States, took place last week in Kansas City, Missouri—bringing together more than 400 tourism professionals for three days of intensive meetings, networking, and strategic planning. The event serves as a key platform for increasing international visitation, to drive more travelers to spend more time—and money—across the South.

Throughout the event, the Visit Savannah team conducted nearly 40 appointments with leading international tour operators, strengthening existing relationships and forging new partnerships that will help expand Savannah’s reach in overseas markets.
