Larry Browder, Visit Savannah’s Senior Director of Sales, recently joined local hospitality partners in hosting representatives from the National Agricultural Aviation Association (NAAA) during a site visit to Savannah. The group toured the expanded Savannah Convention Center, which features a first-of-its-kind “hangar door” incorporated into the design. This innovative design allows agricultural aircraft to be easily loaded onto the exhibit floor—an amenity tailored specifically to NAAA’s needs.
NAAA will host its annual convention in Savannah in November 2026, bringing approximately 900 attendees to the destination during a traditionally slower travel period and generating significant economic impact for local hotels, restaurants, and businesses.
The group was highly impressed with the expanded convention space and expressed strong enthusiasm for the upcoming Signia by Hilton Savannah Harbor headquarters hotel. With the addition of this new property, Savannah is now being targeted to host NAAA’s annual convention again in 2029—earning an early “thumbs up” from the organization.
