Last week, Visit Savannah’s sales leadership welcomed Penny Key from the National Hardwood Flooring Association (NHFA) for an in‑market site inspection. Kellie Linder, Vice President of Sales, and Nora Gorman, the team’s newest Chicago‑based representative for the Midwest and West regions, guided Key through The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa, the Savannah Convention Center, and several historic‑district properties.

NHFA plans to host its 2029 national conference in Savannah, anticipating 2,500 attendees over four nights at the Convention Center. This visit allowed Key to experience the city’s world‑class meeting facilities, downtown hotels, and unique charm, making Savannah an ideal destination for large‑scale events.
