Visit Savannah’s Director of Southeast Sales, Jennifer Thompson, who recently welcomed Destinations University by Retreats Resources to Savannah and hosted the program at Perry Lane Hotel. Designed to fully immerse planners in a city’s culture, Destinations University provides hands-on experiences that showcase what it would be like to host a group in the destination.

Over three days, 15 meeting planners explored Savannah’s unique venues, attractions, and hospitality. The JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District also invited attendees to stay overnight, giving them a first-hand look at the property’s offerings. This immersive experience highlighted why Savannah continues shining as a premier meeting destination.
