Visit Savannah’s Group Tour & Entertainment Sales Manager, Stefan King, spent the past week representing the organization at the Heritage Club/Peer Group Trade Show in Virginia Beach, strengthening relationships and creating new opportunities to bring group travelers to Savannah.

During the event, King met with approximately 25 bankers and seven tour operators, showcasing Savannah’s unique experiences, historic charm, and vibrant hospitality offerings. These meetings provided valuable opportunities to highlight the city as a premier destination for group travel.

The outreach is already producing results. Two tour operators have confirmed plans to bring groups to Savannah later this year, and several additional operators have expressed strong interest in scheduling future trips.

Trade shows like the Heritage Club event play an important role in Visit Savannah’s ongoing efforts to grow group travel, build industry partnerships, and introduce new audiences to everything Savannah has to offer. By connecting directly with tour planners and travel professionals, Visit Savannah continues to position the city as a must-visit destination for travelers from across the country.
