Mava Byrd Honored with Award from Deputy Commissioner of Tourism
Last week, Liz Hood and Mava Byrd attended a regional visitor center conference and awards banquet in Woodstock. There were 93 attendees made up of regional visitor center directors and state welcome center managers. At the banquet, Byrd was presented with an award by Kevin Langston, Deputy Commissioner of Tourism for the Georgia Department of Economic Development, for her contributions and service on the Regional Visitor Information Center Steering Committee. Byrd served on the committee from 2015 to 2017. Congratulations, Mava!
