IITA Holds Annual Summit in Savannah

Last week, the Visit Savannah Tour and Travel team hosted the International Inbound Travel Association’s 2019 Summit. More than 175 operators and suppliers from around the world attended educational seminars, networked with colleagues and experienced Savannah’s Southern hospitality. Visit Savannah’s president Joseph Marinelli addressed the group at the closing reception held at the Telfair Museum of Art where he thanked the group for making Savannah a part of their industry celebration.
The International Inbound Travel Association is the national nonprofit trade association representing the United States’ international inbound travel industry. IITA members include inbound tour operators and suppliers (lodging companies, transportation, destinations, attractions, restaurants, etc.) from across the country. IITA inbound tour operators (also known as receptive tour operators) are US-based companies, which specialize in creating, marketing, and selling U.S. travel products to international travelers.
