Visit Savannah played host to one of Germany’s best niche tour operators and their top travel agents on December 4 and 5. The familiarization tour was organized by the owner of Fly2America, which specializes in music tours in the U.S. and offers several itineraries that include Savannah. For many of the agents it was their first trip to the states, and there was only one who’d previously been to Savannah. Although their stay was brief, they enjoyed the immersion into Savannah’s history and highlights. Their trip continued through the state of Georgia before heading back to Germany.
