Last week, Frontier Airlines announced two new non-stop routes from Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. Beginning in April, Frontier will now offer the longest route from Savannah with nonstop flights to Denver and will be the only low-cost airline flying to Philadelphia. Flights are available for purchase now at flyfrontier.com with introductory fares as low as $39* each way. Pictured at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport for the announcement are Shirley James and Lois Wooten of the Savannah Airport Commission, President of Visit Savannah Joseph Marinelli, Ariana Pernice of the Hilton Head Island Visitor and Convention Bureau, and Jonathan Freed of Frontier Airlines.
“We are extremely excited about the prospect of reaching Frontier Airlines’ customers in the Denver and Colorado area,” said Marinelli. “As Savannah grows in popularity as an attractive visitor destination, we see more and more people traveling from points west. Any opportunity to make friends in new markets gives us one more chance to tell the story of an unexpected and evocative Savannah experience.”
