2017 Tybee VIC Visitation Tops 2016 by 8 Percent

In 2017, the Tybee Island Visitor Information Center counted its total visitors at 22,569, which is an 8 percent increase over 2016’s recorded visitation.
Each day, the Tybee Island Visitor Information Center draws dozens of visitors from around the country searching for things to do, places to see and where to eat. The visitor center is located at the corner of Highway 80 and Campbell Avenue at the first stoplight on Tybee, and is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., excluding some major holidays.

Special thank you to visitor information center staff: supervisor Liz Hood, Ed Simpson and Joyce Walker.
