The Savannah Chamber of Commerce is proud to share an impactful opportunity to support our community’s youth this summer. From June 1 through August 1, Hunter Army Airfield (HAAF), in partnership with America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, will host the Kids Summer Café at the Hunter Club on base. This vital program ensures that no child goes hungry during the summer months by providing free lunches to children in the Savannah area.
The success of the Kids Summer Café depends on community support—and volunteers are urgently needed. Helpers are needed to assist with meal service Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Federal holidays excluded.)
This is a meaningful way to give back, make a difference, and connect with our local youth. Whether you volunteer once or throughout the summer, your time will have a lasting impact on the lives of children in our region.
If you or members of your organization are interested in volunteering—or can help spread the word—we encourage you to get involved.
