DUCK DONUTS

Duck Donuts, known for serving warm, delicious & made-to-order donuts will open its first Savannah store on December 1. Duck Donuts are made fresh the moment an order is placed. Customers can choose from a variety of topping combinations, including traditional favorites such as chocolate icing with sprinkles and more adventurous creations such as maple icing with bacon. The family-friendly stores offer a viewing area where patrons can watch their donuts being made. Duck Donuts also sells coffee, tea, donut breakfast sandwiches and more. STATE BANK & TRUST

State Bank & Trust Company will open its second full-service branch in Savannah on Monday, December 4 at 10:30 a.m. The bank will celebrate the branch opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, food and prizes.

Savannah residents are invited to attend the festivities with State Bank regional leadership and family fun activities. Residents are also encouraged to participate in a protein donation drive for families in need. State Bank has partnered with America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, which works to distribute over 15 million pounds of food per year to individuals and families who are experiencing food insecurity.

BURGER KING, SAVANNAH RESTAURANTS CORPORATION

Thursday, December 7, Savannah Restaurants Corporation is hosting a grand re-opening of Burger King #322 restaurant, located at 601 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. The King is returning beautifully modernized after fifty years of business. Two of Savannah’s newest designated historical monuments will be unveiled immediately following the ribbon cutting.

Savannah Restaurants Corporation has been in business for more than 30 years and is a proud franchisee of Burger King Corporation, providing more than 400 jobs to local citizens in and around the Savannah area.

NINE LINE APPAREL

Please join the Chamber in congratulating Nine Line Apparel on the grand opening of their new facility!

After five years of operation from personal homes to rental properties, veteran owned Nine Line Apparel is proud to announce the completion of their new facility. Located just off of I-95 and State Highway 204, the 60,000 square foot building has been custom designed and built to fit Nine Line’s production and operation needs, as well as to allow room for continued growth and expansion.

High profile attendees included Georgia Governor Nathan Deal and Savannah Mayor Eddie DeLoach. The event included a memorial dedication of seven parking spaces, honoring the memories of six fallen soldiers and one firefighter from the Savannah area. In addition, Nine Line presented a check for $36,000 to the 9/11 Tribute Museum from the sales of Nine Line’s 9/11 Tribute design. The check was accepted on behalf of the museum by former members of the New York Fire Department and former NYPD Commissioner Bernie Kerik.Congratulations to Nine Line!

In addition, RobMark celebrated the reveal of its corporate re-brand and 27 years in business during the November 16 event with clients, customers and team members at the company’s office at 108 East Montgomery Crossroad.

Founded by Ted Robertson and Lisa Markowitz Kitchens, the company first opened its doors in 1990 as Robertson & Markowitz Advertising & Public Relations, Inc. Earlier this year, the company’s founders decided it was time to re-brand. “We knew it was time to re-brand from the inside out,” Markowitz Kitchens explained, “to show that we have everything under one roof. We took our own re-branding to heart, from the new name, logo and website to a total interior and exterior refresh of our office, to new collateral materials and so much more,” she added.
