The Edit brings Vintage Luxury to Plant Riverside District

Shoppers have a new destination for timeless treasures now that The Edit at Plant Riverside District has celebrated its grand opening. The boutique, the third concept from Starboard Resort, held its ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, September 18th. Located within the vibrant Plant Riverside District, The Edit offers a carefully curated collection of vintage luxury goods. This includes iconic designs from world-renowned fashion houses, pre-owned Swiss timepieces, fine jewelry, and luxury accessories. The store is designed to be a unique experience, inviting guests to discover pieces that inspire and delight. Visiting Angels of Savannah Unveils New Home, New Leadership

A dual celebration took place as Visiting Angels of Savannah marked both a brand-new location and new ownership with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, September 18th. The event was held at their new headquarters at 6409 Abercorn St., Suite C. The celebration offered light refreshments and networking, alongside a silent auction benefiting the Visiting Angels team’s participation in the 2025 Alzheimer’s Walk. The organization remains dedicated to supporting the senior population, ensuring they live safely and comfortably at home across Chatham, Effingham, Bryan, and Liberty counties. The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates Visiting Angels of Savannah on this exciting transition and its commitment to quality senior care in the Lowcountry.

1308 Studio Introduces European Elegance to Savannah

1308 Studio debuted its new space with a grand opening on Thursday, September 18th. The studio, located at 1308 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., celebrated its launch with an elegant, highly personalized event. The evening, which included a ribbon cutting, featured a live electric violinist, a celebratory red carpet, and desserts. Supported by numerous local vendors, the studio brings a touch of European elegance to the area, serving as a dedicated space for the bridal industry and creative professionals. After being purchased and reenvisioned by owner Marc Cohen as a place where Savannah’s high achievers and art patrons can train and find a refuge in the heart of the Historic District, FoB has been refreshed and its lobby transformed into a showcase for local artists to display their works. After being a staple of the downtown fitness scene for years, this much overdue refresh has resulted in a tremendous outpouring of support and growth and this is our way of providing a true community space for our members and guests to gather, train and form new bonds.
