A Taste of Tradition in Downtown Savannah: Romano Grill Downtown Celebrates Official Opening

Downtown Savannah welcomed a delicious new dining destination, as Romano Grill Downtown officially celebrated its ribbon-cutting ceremony. Located at 2019 Habersham St., the pizzeria hosted local leaders, including Savannah Mayor Van Johnson, along with representatives from the Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce and the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce. Built on a passion for quality ingredients and warm hospitality, Romano Grill Downtown offers authentic, carefully crafted pizzas made to make every guest feel like family. The new eatery brings a strong commitment to community-focused service and fresh local flavor to the heart of downtown. The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates Romano Grill Downtown on its official grand opening and warmly welcomes this neighborhood pizzeria to Habersham Street.

Residents, business and community leaders, as well as visitors are invited to step inside the new lab and explore an immersive, hands-on custom fragrance experience. Owned by local entrepreneurs Dayton Pietsch and Carolyn Sanford, Tijon makes the art of perfumery interactive, unique, and accessible to everyone. Guests will get a first look at Tijon’s signature offering, which includes our exclusive Savannah Collection of four locally developed scents, over 300 fragrance oils, and our signature custom perfume and cologne crafting classes. The new Colombian café and special event space will serve authentic arepas, Colombian-inspired bowls, handmade pastries, locally roasted Colombian coffee, smoothies and more.
