Café M Commemorates 10-Year Milestone
A landmark celebration took place as Café M marked its 10-year anniversary with a special evening event on Wednesday, Oct. 15. The popular downtown spot, located at 128 E Bay St., hosted the event in partnership with Blessings in a Bookbag, blending business celebration with philanthropic community outreach. Guests enjoyed an evening of networking, great music, and light bites following the 10-year ribbon cutting. Attendees were invited to support the featured charity by bringing nonperishable items—such as canned yams, stuffing mix, and corn bread—or Kroger gift cards. The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates Café M on reaching this significant decade-long milestone and applauds its dedication to supporting vital local organizations like Blessings in a Bookbag.

Savannah State Unveils Tiger Walk at Enmarket Arena
Savannah State University (SSU) officially planted its Tiger pride in the city’s entertainment hub with the celebration of the new Tiger Walk installation on Thursday, Oct. 16. The event, held at Enmarket Arena, marked the opening of a new bridge installment designed to bring the unmistakable SSU spirit downtown. The opening drew a powerful gathering of civic and academic leaders, including the new University President, local and state elected officials, alumni, and current students. With the mascot and cheerleaders adding excitement, the event successfully underscored the vital link between the university and the broader community. The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates SSU on installing this new landmark, which celebrates academic excellence and strengthens the connection between our higher education institutions and the Lowcountry.

IV Savannah Expands: New Storefront at Tyson’s Corner
IV Savannah celebrated a significant business milestone with the grand opening of its first storefront location at Tyson’s Corner on Thursday, Oct. 16. The ribbon-cutting event, held at 1000-K Eisenhower Dr., marked the expansion of the practice, which began as a mobile IV wellness service. The new location allows IV Savannah to greatly expand its offerings, which now include prescription weight loss services, aesthetic treatments (Botox and dermal fillers), and the advanced Empower platform. The clinic is one of only two medical provider-owned practices in the area to offer this platform, which features Morpheus RF microneedling, EMS muscle toning, and women’s pelvic floor therapy. Guests at the open house enjoyed prize giveaways, refreshments, and vendor displays. Goodwill Southeast Georgia Opens Storefront in Junior Achievement Discovery Center
A major step in youth workforce development was celebrated with the grand opening of the Goodwill Southeast Georgia Storefront inside the Junior Achievement (JA) Discovery Center on Thursday, Oct. 16. This significant partnership unites Goodwill and JA in their shared mission to equip middle school students with career readiness and financial literacy skills. The new storefront serves as a symbolic, real-world environment, integrating Goodwill’s focus on workforce development with JA’s hands-on educational programs like JA BizTown. The collaboration provides a comprehensive link between foundational learning and practical career support for students across the region.
