Devereux Behavioral Health Expands Critical Foster Care to Savannah

The nonprofit Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health of Georgia celebrated the opening of its new Foster Care Offices in Savannah with an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, Oct. 3. The new location is situated at 529 Stephenson Ave., Suite 5. For over 50 years, Devereux has been dedicated to providing therapeutic programs that help children, adolescents, and families heal, grow, and thrive. This expansion brings their specialized foster care program and resources directly to the Savannah area, increasing vital support for children across the region. Community members were invited to tour the new space and learn how to get involved in this essential work. The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health of Georgia on strengthening its regional footprint and deepening its ability to serve vulnerable youth and families in our community.

The Habersham School Unveils New Facilities

The Habersham School, a leading classical, Christian educational institution, celebrated a major expansion of its campus with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Oct. 7. The event took place at Building B on the 18-acre property located at 4700 Skidaway Road. Guests enjoyed refreshments from Chick-fil-A and a special performance from The Brass Krewe of the Fabulous Equinox Orchestra. Following the ceremony, leadership led tours of the new facilities. The school operates on the classical education philosophy utilized for centuries, aiming to educate the whole student and shape young adults oriented toward “the good, the true, and the beautiful.” The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates The Habersham School on its facility expansion, a move that strengthens the educational resources available to families in our community.

The TOX Savannah Establishes New Health Spa in Midtown

A dedicated center for healing and wellness has opened its doors as The TOX Savannah celebrated its grand opening on Thursday, Oct. 9.The new clinic, located at 1815 E Victory Dr., Suite 104, is the vision of native Savannahian Angela Thomas, a recognized regional leader in the health and rehabilitation sector. The TOX specializes in the Tox Technique, a refined therapeutic method designed to promote detoxification and boost lymphatic flow. This specialized care aims to naturally sculpt the body, providing clients with a feeling of being lighter, rejuvenated, and less bloated. The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce extends congratulations to The TOX Savannah and Angela Thomas on establishing this valuable, innovative wellness service within the community.

Morgan Rae Boutique Celebrates Six Years of Style

Morgan Rae Boutique marked six successful years in business with a festive “Cheers to Six Years” celebration on Friday, Oct. 10. The event, which kicked off with a ribbon cutting, was held at the boutique’s downtown location at 301 W Broughton St. The evening offered guests a unique experience complete with cocktails, on-site Botox, flash tattoos, and giveaways. Morgan Rae Boutique is known for its curated selection of sophisticated and contemporary clothing and accessories offered at an accessible price point, all within a welcoming atmosphere designed to make every customer feel confident and beautiful. Fitness on Broughton Redefines Historic District Wellness

A long-standing staple of the downtown fitness scene, Fitness on Broughton (FoB), marked a major transformation last week with its grand relaunch and gallery opening on Friday, Oct. 10. Located at 1 E Broughton St., the gym was recently reenvisioned by owner Marc Cohen to serve as both a training facility and a cultural refuge for Savannah’s high achievers and art patrons. The multi-faceted refresh includes a lobby dramatically transformed into a showcase for local artists, integrating the city’s creative essence directly into the wellness space. By blending fitness and culture, FoB aims to provide a true community hub where members and guests can train, gather, and form new bonds. The facility looks forward to hosting exhibits and cultural events that add a sense of excellence and creativity to the Southeast Georgia area. The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce applauds Fitness on Broughton and Marc Cohen for their commitment to providing a dynamic, community-focused space that celebrates both physical well-being and local art.
