Moffatt & Nichol celebrated the grand opening of their new Savannah office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and networking reception on Tuesday, March 25th. Guests enjoyed delicious bites and cocktails while connecting with industry partners and learning more about Moffatt & Nichol’s global infrastructure advisory services. Moffatt & Nichol, a global firm with over 45 locations worldwide, provides engineering and consulting services to clients in various sectors, including marine terminals, transportation, energy, and urban development. XI Clothing Store Opens Store Front in Savannah
XI (Eleven) Clothing Store, a locally owned boutique by Savannahian Marissa Byrd, celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, March 26th. Surrounded by family, friends, Savannah Area Chamber members, and community leaders, including Savannah Mayor Van Johnson, District 3 Alderwoman Linda Wilder-Bryan, and District 2 Alderman Detric Leggett, Byrd officially opened the doors to her new storefront. XI Clothing Store offers trendy and affordable women’s and men’s apparel and accessories, providing a unique and intimate shopping experience. The Savannah Area Chamber congratulated Marissa Byrd and welcomed XI Clothing Store to the Savannah business community.
The Anthony M. Lanier II (AML2) Foundation Celebrates 8th Annual Undefeated Warrior Youth Football Camp
The Anthony M. Lanier II (AML2) Foundation celebrated the 8th Annual Undefeated Warrior Youth Football Camp with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, March 29th, at Jenkins High School. Representative Carl Gilliard of the Georgia House of Representatives presented Anthony Lanier with a resolution recognizing his successful football career and advocacy for youth and community development. Jenkins High School football players volunteered at the camp, providing drills and training to aspiring young athletes. Surrounded by supporters, volunteers, foundation team members, the Warrior Touchdown Booster Club, Savannah Area Chamber members, and Savannah Mayor Van Johnson, Lanier cut the ribbon to officially launch the camp. The Anthony Lanier Foundation is dedicated to developing Savannah’s youth into leaders with strong character, social skills, and values. The Chamber congratulates the Anthony Lanier Foundation on another successful youth football camp.

Ghost Scouts by The Witching Hour Ghost Tour

The Witching Hour Ghost Tour are proud to announce the launch of their new daytime tour – Ghost Scouts! This daytime child and family-friendly ghost tour of the historic district will bring history alive through the lens of the ghosts that reputedly haunt our city. Families can join our Ghost Scout Leader for a walking tour through the shady and spooky squares, as the children learn about the history and ghosts, whilst solving riddles and clues to earn virtual patches. Once they complete the tour, each child will earn their very own Ghost Scouts Patch! The tour has been devised by the Witching Hour team after regular feedback from guests who brought children, school groups and scouts on their tours and praised the guides for how well they brought history and science alive whilst imparting accurate historical knowledge and scientific research. They are also developing further educational content on the Ghost Scouts website to include access to accurate historical and scientific subject areas when it comes to our haunted heritage. These include The Great American Ghost Tour, Great British Ghost Tour and Ghostology 101. Tours will run throughout the day at 11am, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm. Private group bookings are also welcome. The Savannah Clay Community invites you to cut the ceremonial red ribbon with us at the opening reception of SIP: A Ceramic Cup Show on Friday, April 11th from 6 PM – 8 PM. SIP 2025 is the 10th Anniversary of our annual national exhibition featuring around 200 functional ceramic cups, mugs, yunomi, and more from clay artists across the country. It shows the diversity of drinking vessels as an art form and allows visitors to become owners of hand-crafted ceramics. All cup sales benefit each artist, and a percentage of proceeds will be donated to CERF+ to help craft artists affected by natural disasters rebuild. The Savannah Clay Community is an organization formed to build strength and support for all ceramicists within Savannah by encouraging the promotion, growth, and education of the ceramic arts. We recognize and aid the development of emerging and established ceramicists in Savannah and encourage the local creative economy to give artists more opportunities to earn income from their artwork.

Please join Coastal Children’s Advocacy Center for a ribbon cutting celebrating the reopening of our Hispanic Outreach and Counseling Center. CCAC is a private nonprofit agency that provides a safe, confidential, child-friendly site for free investigative and therapeutic services to victims of abuse. CCAC’s mission is to unite public, private and community resources to provide each child who has suffered abuse with justice, hope and healing. In 2024, CCAC received a Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency. CCAC provided services to over 366 children in 2024 from the Chatham County community which included over 1000 hours of free counseling services.
