Southern Crafted, a home goods store featuring a curated collection of unique, handcrafted pieces sourced from craftsmen across the South, will celebrate our Grand Opening on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024, at 4PM. Please join us for a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Mayor Van Johnson, followed by a store tour and presentation of the work of some of our craftsmen. There will be a door prize, swag bags and refreshments for attendees. Southern Crafted is owned by Savannah native Ashley McCorkle and his wife, Deborah McCorkle. We hope to help Savannahians decorate your homes and entertain your friends with beautiful, handcrafted goods that express the uniqueness of our region. From fine handmade tableware, kitchenware to barware, find everything you need to entertain in style and embrace the true spirit of the Hostess City.

Young Physical Therapy and Wellness is excited to announce its ribbon cutting ceremony at their new location inside Mercer Plaza on Wilmington Island. Owned and operated by Dr. Erin Young PT, DPT, the clinic provides 1:1 concierge physical therapy and wellness services including injury recovery, post-surgical rehab, sports specific rehab and training, running gait analysis, vestibular rehab, manual therapy and functional capacity exams. In addition, Dr. Young is certified in both dry needling and blow flow restriction training and specializes in treatment of runners of all ages and levels. With over 25 years of experience, she is passionate about helping clients restore movement and mobility to function at their highest and best level. She practices with a holistic approach, incorporating muscle strength, joint mobility, myofascial elements, functional movement, breathing, nutrition, sleep, mental and social well-being into all her treatment plans. Experience our newly updated store, featuring the addition of our 6th regional Opportunity Center and our third in-store Bit of Blue Children’s Boutique. Our Opportunity Centers provide education, skills training, and access to employment opportunities, free and open to the public. Our goal is to help individuals reach their highest potential and build pathways out of poverty. Our regional locations are tailored to teach high-demand skills in high-demand industries. So far in 2024, our Opportunity Centers have served more than 1,600 individuals, placing more than 580 into employment as a direct result of services. The Bit of Blue Children’s Boutique offers a curated collection of brand-name children’s clothing and a personalized shopping experience at great prices.
