Chef Amberley Stewart, owner of Savannah Culinary Retreat, celebrated the launch of their new customized retreat offerings with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception on Wednesday, February 5th. The event, attended by community leaders, media representatives, and the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, including 2025 Ribbon Cutting Sponsor the Current Agency, showcased the company’s unique blend of culinary education and coastal exploration, perfect for both locals and visitors. Limestone Wines Raises a Glass to Grand Opening

Limestone Wines celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, February 8th. Owner Jamie Crotts and Partner Hunter Jones cut the ribbon among family, friends, clients, and community leaders. The event featured a special tasting experience, showcasing the shop’s curated selection of rare and unique wines from small production producers and family-owned wineries. Limestone Wines, a specialty wine shop run by two sommeliers, offers a unique shopping experience, with weekly tasting events and daily opportunities for customers to sample wines while browsing the selection. The Chamber congratulates Limestone Wines on their successful grand opening.

Britt’s Funky Stich Celebrates Grand Opening

Britt’s Funky Stitch, known for its unique hand-embroidered art and handcrafted jewelry, recently celebrated a grand opening party. Inspired by her time in Gabon, Africa, Brittany Milward’s passion for vibrant designs led to the creation of this vibrant brand. Guests enjoyed light bites, bubbly, and door prizes while browsing Britt’s collection of one-of-a-kind pieces. Congratulations to Brittany Milward on the successful launch of Britt’s Funky Stitch!

Savannah Performing Arts Festival Launches with Ribbon Cutting

The Savannah Performing Arts Festival, presented by OnStageSavannah.com, celebrated its launch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, February 10th, at the Savannah Cultural Arts Center. Rick Garman, Owner and Producer, welcomed distinguished guests and media. The event was attended by Mayor Van Johnson, District 4 Alderman Nick Palumbo, Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce leadership, Visit Savannah staff, performing arts industry partners such as Tybee Post Theater, Ghosted Savanna,h and several community leaders. The festival, running from February 10th to 22nd, will feature a diverse program of performances, including a fully staged production of the Tony Award-winning musical “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder.” The Chamber congratulates the Savannah Performing Arts Festival on its successful launch and looks forward to supporting this exciting new cultural initiative. SIP: A Ceramic Cup Show 10th Anniversary

The Savannah Clay Community invites you to cut the ceremonial red ribbon with us at the opening reception of SIP: A Ceramic Cup Show on Friday, April 11th from 6 PM – 8 PM. SIP 2025 is the 10th Anniversary of our annual national exhibition featuring around 200 functional ceramic cups, mugs, yunomi, and more from clay artists across the country. It shows the diversity of drinking vessels as an art form and allows visitors to become owners of hand-crafted ceramics. All cup sales benefit each artist, and a percentage of proceeds will be donated to CERF+ to help craft artists affected by natural disasters rebuild. The Savannah Clay Community is an organization formed to build strength and support for all ceramicists within Savannah by encouraging the promotion, growth, and education of the ceramic arts. We recognize and aid the development of emerging and established ceramicists in Savannah and encourage the local creative economy to give artists more opportunities to earn income from their artwork.
