Alcoholic Beverage Ordinance Revisions – Meeting Wednesday

Over the next few months, the City of Savannah will be working with the community to revisit possible revisions to the Alcoholic Beverage Ordinance. Key ares of focus include addressing concerns regarding bar card provisions, Sunday sales, persons under the age of 21 in establishments when the kitchen closes, enforcement and other items identified when implementing the initial ordinance changes.
Opportunities for the community to participate in this process are scheduled for:

 

  • Wednesday, August 23 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Savannah Civic Center, 301 W. Oglethorpe Avenue
  • Wednesday, September 6 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Coastal Georgia Center, 305 Fahm Street

 

All meetings will be advertised through the Public Information Office, and the City’s website will provide up-to-date information on the process.
