Renee’s Kid’s World Celebrates Grand ReOpening
Renee’s Kid’s World Childcare and Pre-K celebrated its grand reopening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, April 2nd. The center had been closed for six months due to extensive damage from Hurricane Helene. Owner and Founder Renee Williams thanked the community and the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce for their support during the closure. Chamber CEO & President Bert Brantley and other business leaders joined current families, industry partners, and community leaders to celebrate the reopening of the Quality Rated childcare center. Guests enjoyed refreshments and toured the newly repaired facility, which is committed to providing high-quality care and promoting the healthy development of young children. The Chamber congratulates Renee’s Kid’s World on their resilience and successful reopening.
Foxtail Coffee Co. Opens in Historic Downtown Savannah
Foxtail Coffee Co. celebrated the grand opening of its Riverside Savannah location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, April 3rd. Owner Tracey Jones, surrounded by family, local community leaders, and Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and Taskforce members, officially opened the new coffee shop. Brooke Willis of The Current Agency, the 2025 Ribbon Cutting Sponsor, welcomed Jones to the Savannah business community. Foxtail Coffee Co. aims to create an inviting atmosphere where guests can connect and enjoy expertly crafted beverages, delicious gelato, and select beer and wine. Ghost Scouts Launches Family-Friendly Tour in Savannah
The Witching Hour Ghost Tour company celebrated the launch of its new daytime tour, Ghost Scouts, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, April 4th, in Chippewa Square. Owners Dylan Jones and Brigid Pitts and their tour partner Tanaya welcomed friends, industry partners, community leaders, and representatives from the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce to mark the occasion. Ghost Scouts offers a child and family-friendly exploration of Savannah’s historic district, bringing history to life through ghost stories, riddles, and clues. Children who complete the tour earn their very own Ghost Scouts Patch. Tours run throughout the day, and private group bookings are available.

The Savannah Clay Community invites you to cut the ceremonial red ribbon with us at the opening reception of SIP: A Ceramic Cup Show on Friday, April 11th from 6 PM – 8 PM. SIP 2025 is the 10th Anniversary of our annual national exhibition featuring around 200 functional ceramic cups, mugs, yunomi, and more from clay artists across the country. It shows the diversity of drinking vessels as an art form and allows visitors to become owners of hand-crafted ceramics. All cup sales benefit each artist, and a percentage of proceeds will be donated to CERF+ to help craft artists affected by natural disasters rebuild. The Savannah Clay Community is an organization formed to build strength and support for all ceramicists within Savannah by encouraging the promotion, growth, and education of the ceramic arts. We recognize and aid the development of emerging and established ceramicists in Savannah and encourage the local creative economy to give artists more opportunities to earn income from their artwork.

Please join Coastal Children’s Advocacy Center for a ribbon cutting celebrating the reopening of our Hispanic Outreach and Counseling Center. CCAC is a private nonprofit agency that provides a safe, confidential, child-friendly site for free investigative and therapeutic services to victims of abuse. CCAC’s mission is to unite public, private, and community resources to provide each child who has suffered abuse with justice, hope, and healing. In 2024, CCAC received a Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency. CCAC provided services to over 366 children in 2024 from the Chatham County community, which included over 1000 hours of free counseling services.
