LaunchSAVANNAH: Poverty Simulation | November 12

In Savannah, more than 34,200 people are living in poverty. Most are considered the “working poor,” receiving a minimum or very low wage. Join LaunchSAVANNAH on Thursday, Nov. 12 for a poverty simulation experience designed to raise awareness of the barriers faced by a typical low-income family. During the simulation experience, attendees will also learn how they are able to get involved with Step Up Savannah to help the 25 percent of the Savannah community that struggles with poverty.
Please register by Tuesday, November 11.

Time:  5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Location:  West Broad YMCA (1110 May St., Savannah)
Cost:  Please bring at least two canned goods or one piece of professional clothing to donate.
