Visit Savannah’s Anjuli King recently represented the destination at the Smart Meetings Leadership Experience, held July 8–10 in Washington, D.C.

The exclusive three-day conference brings together qualified meeting planners, destination representatives, and luxury hotel partners for targeted business development and professional education. Attendees participate in curated networking opportunities, prescheduled appointments, and sessions focused on emerging trends within the meetings and events industry.

During the conference, King completed one-on-one appointments with 25 meeting planners, providing an opportunity to showcase Savannah’s expanding convention offerings, diverse accommodations, and distinctive experiences for groups of all sizes.

Her participation helped strengthen relationships with industry professionals and keep Savannah top of mind as planners consider destinations for future meetings, conferences, and events.
