Visit Savannah’s Stefan King led a group tour sales mission to Kentucky and Tennessee, joining local hospitality partners for meetings with 25 clients.

The team worked to bring new group tour business to Savannah while strengthening relationships with clients who already include the destination in their travel plans.

Joining King were Lizzie Clanton of Old Town Trolley Attractions, Renae Scott of Elite Savannah Travel, and Christina Frack of Holiday Inn Savannah Historic District.

Group tours are an important part of Savannah’s visitor market mix. Their itineraries can fill hotel rooms throughout Chatham County while bringing guests to local attractions, restaurants, and shops.

By meeting directly with tour clients, Visit Savannah and its partners can showcase the experiences available throughout the area and encourage clients to keep Savannah in mind for future trips.
