Visit Savannah Brings Southern Hospitality to Rail Travelers
Visit Savannah is bringing its signature Southern hospitality to travelers arriving by train. Visitors at Savannah’s Amtrak station will soon see new messages welcoming them to our city and Chatham County.
The idea grew from a fact-finding rail excursion to Charleston by Visit Savannah leadership. The trip highlighted an opportunity to connect with travelers at the station and welcome them to Savannah—whether it’s their final destination or a stop along the way.
