U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson Raising Funds and Awareness for Neurocognitive Diseases

Last week, political leaders from around the country joined former United States Senator Johnny Isakson in Atlanta to launch the Isakson Initiative. The Isakson Initiative will raise awareness and funding for research related to neurocognitive diseases, including Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and related dementia. Established by former U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson of Georgia following his retirement due to Parkinson’s, the Initiative continues Senator Isakson’s lifelong commitment to public service and his dedication to remaining a champion for advancements in biomedical research and development.
