Tybee Island Extends Warm Welcome to Cape Coast, Ghana Delegation
Tybee Island hosted a distinguished delegation from Cape Coast Ghana last month. Mayor Brian West and local business leaders welcomed the group, which included their Regional Minister (equivalent to a Governor), Mayor, City Manager, and other high-level officials. The visit focused on exchanging best practices in business and tourism, with the Ghanaian delegation also experiencing the renowned hospitality of the Tybee Island community. Joseph Marinelli, President of Visit Tybee, extended a personal welcome to the group upon their arrival at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport.
