The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) Seeks Business Partner Volunteers

The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) is seeking volunteers for its Quality Education through Student Tours and Training (QUEST) initiative. It aims to partner with local businesses and industries to help students gain workplace knowledge and competencies through field trips, guest speakers, industry tours, and more.

There is a nationwide teacher shortage, and there is a teacher shortage here in Chatham County. Programs such as QUEST are one way to assist workforce development, and businesses who provide this invaluable service to our public school system enjoy the added benefit of shaping graduates into an employee who possesses the skills necessary to succeed in that business field. Volunteering companies and employees will have a chance to speak in class two to three times a year and may also arrange a tour of their property or industry during the program.

To participate and learn more about QUEST, please see Quest Cover Flyer.
