The Grand Lake Club at Southbridge Hosts August Power Hour Luncheon

On August 6, The Chamber’s Small Business Council held its Power Hour luncheon at The Grand Lake Club at Southbridge. At the event, Chris Tilton of the Dewitt Tilton Group shared industry insights into the changes with commercial buildings and will answer any questions business owners may have about the modern manufacturing processes that are available today. Metal Buildings: Modern Marvels? Businesses Turning to Budget-Friendly Options for State-of-the-Art Appearances. Not long ago, when you heard the words “metal building,” your lip might curl a bit. The best that could be said was that they were utilitarian. But things change. Bag phones became smartphones. Black-and-white TV became color and then high-definition. Video rental stores became streaming services. And metal buildings became a trend, driven by innovation that drove up demand.

The Chamber knows that people like to do business with people they know. That’s why we offer six networking events scheduled for morning, lunchtime and after hours, at different locations around the Savannah area. These events are intended to provide the most opportunity for members to build relationships with their fellow members during a time of day that is convenient for them. Join us for Coffee Chats and Speed Networking in the mornings, the Power Hour and Courses & Conversation over lunch, and Business Connections and Business on the Move after business hours.
