Savannah’s hospitality scene has another feather in its cap: The Douglas has been awarded a Michelin Key, part of the Michelin Guide’s newly announced hotel selections. The honor comes the same summer the hotel opened its new restaurant, Lester’s, giving Savannah visitors even more reason to book a stay. See the article from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution HERE.

The Douglas joins a growing roster of Savannah properties that have already earned Michelin recognition since the program began in 2024, including Hotel Bardo Savannah, Perry Lane Hotel, and Bellwether House. Michelin’s Key system mirrors its famous Star ratings for restaurants, with one, two, or three keys awarded based on anonymous inspector evaluations of hotels.
