The Savannah Chamber’s LEADS Trip series continued in 2025 with a three-day visit to Nashville. A delegation of 78 community and business leaders came together to explore innovative ideas, exchange best practices, and strengthen relationships that shape Savannah’s future.
During the trip, participants examined key issues that mirror challenges in our own region, including housing, transportation, childcare, redevelopment of industrial areas, and tourism. Insights came directly from Nashville’s political leaders, community activists, and policy experts, providing practical perspectives to bring home to Savannah.
Beyond the educational sessions, the trip also fostered camaraderie and networking among Savannah’s leadership community. The journey concluded with exciting news: LEADS 2026 will take participants to New Orleans, continuing the tradition of learning from dynamic peer cities.
Special thanks go to Georgia Power, Gulfstream, and HCA for sponsoring LEADS 2025 and making this impactful experience possible.
