The Visit Savannah sales team recently brought a taste of Savannah’s unique charm to Atlanta, hosting a memorable client event at none other than a Savannah Bananas game! Organized by our fantastic Director of Southeast Sales, Jennifer Thompson, the evening at Truist Park brought together 36 enthusiastic meeting planners from across Atlanta, Columbia (SC), and Greenville (NC).

For the vast majority of attendees, it was their very first experience witnessing the electric energy of a Bananas game – and let’s just say, the team delivered in spades!

“We hosted a suite at the Bananas game in Truist Park on Sunday and just WOW,” exclaimed Jennifer Thompson. “We had 36 guests coming from all over Atlanta as well as Columbia, SC and Greenville, NC! There were only two people in the suite who had seen the Bananas before, so it was a new and exciting experience for everyone else—and they did not disappoint! This was by far the best customer event I have ever held, and I can’t wait to do it again next year.”

The high-octane energy, the sheer novelty of the experience, and the incredibly interactive spirit that defines a Bananas game created the perfect backdrop for forging deeper connections with our clients.
