The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce proudly celebrated the outstanding contributions of local businesses and community leaders at its annual Chamber Business Awards last week. Six distinguished companies were recognized for their exceptional dedication to hospitality, advocacy, community service, and entrepreneurial success.
“Our business community is filled with innovators, advocates, and industry leaders. These awards, nominated by our membership, highlight some of the most dedicated professionals shaping Savannah’s future,” said Bert Brantley, president and CEO of the Savannah Chamber. “This year’s winners exemplify our city’s thriving business landscape and commitment to excellence.”

Greg Parker, founder and CEO of The Parker Companies, opened his first convenience store in Midway, Georgia, in 1976. Today, his nationally recognized company operates at over 80 locations. A dedicated community advocate, Parker and his company have contributed more than $30 million to charitable causes across coastal Georgia and South Carolina. Cornerstone Award
Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia
Dedicated to fighting hunger and improving lives, Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia distributes 25 million pounds of food annually across 21 counties through partnerships with over 264 nonprofit organizations. Their initiative includes Brown Bag for the Elderly, Kids Café, Mobile Food Pantry, Partner Marketplace, and School Pantry—providing vital support to the region. Diaspora Marketplace, Richard Shinhoster
